How to Join

So you'd like to join, eh? Well, it's not terribly difficult, so to speak. First off, reading through the site is pretty much mandatory. Once you feel you have a good enough knowledge, going to the Join Form here should aid you in the proper fill-out form. Don't forget to join properly on the forums!

Next, you'll have to contact me on AIM. I'll ask you a couple of random questions about different concepts of the RPG, and if you can answer them capably, then you'll be added in.

If you want to choose a character from the series, then you should ignore the following paragraph. Simply copy the "Cannon Join Form," the lower coded form, and fill that one out.

When creating a weapon, you can be as creative and as diverse as you want, but you'll have to understand that there's a limit. You can't have, for instance, something that's HIGHLY inappropriate as a weapon. You can have swords, bow and arrows, and the traditional weapons. You can also goes as unorthodox as a lamp, an instrument, or whatever.

Also, when creating your Resonance of Souls technique, please do not go overboard. My Join Form demonstrates how to properly do it. For instance, if you chose a bow and arrow, your Resonance of Souls could be that they multiply into two, each one strapping them onto their arms and firing at a simple word command. What could NOT be acceptable is, for instance, having a bow and arrow as large as a house, with grenades strapped onto the end of it, and a force field.

*You don't have to follow the show; you can create your own Resonance of Souls technique(s) for the cannon characters, or copy them.

How to Play

If you're accepted, then this part will tutor you in the general forms of playing this RPG. The other sections, listed on the bottom, will give you more in-depth information depending on what section you click on. Right now, for the stat listings:

Stats:

Power: Not necessarily how much muscle you have, but similar. It's the power of your attacks, how much damage your opponent takes when you smash them, or how much your weapon affects your opposition.

Agility: This is how fast your pair moves. If your agility is higher than your opponents, then you have a greater chance of dodging their attacks, or making yours harder to evade.

Resilience: The higher this stat is, the less your opponent's attacks will harm you. Also, your weapon will endure less damage if it gets hit, making them able to last longer.

Aptitude: Basically another way of saying how smart you are. Pairs who have a higher aptitude might be able to outsmart their opponents, even if they are weaker.

Willpower: A way of showing how brave your Meister and Weapon are. If this stat is high, then your characters won't back down, and because of this, might indent fear in their opponents.

Energy: All of your stats added up. This is how much energy you have, thus indicating how many attacks you can use per battle. The more energy-based attacks you use as opposed to physical, the more drained you become. The system is based on points, so use them wisely.

Soul Diameter: This is basically how large your soul is, showing your opponents how strong you are overall. To calculate, take your energy, input it below, and there. For those who don't want to use it, take your energy gained and move the invisible decimal back two spaces.

Energy = Meters

Next up, some other forms of getting stronger, but not quite stats. Hope you're not losing yourself in all this wonderful knowledge, eh? Good, let's continue.

U.F.O.S. (Unique Forms of Stats):

Wavelength Sync (WSC): You can up this UFOS by doing Mirror Fights, Battles, and more (in-depth in the Tutelage section). The higher this is, the more in-sync your Meister and Weapon are. When this has reached the highest level you can attain, you gain a new Resonance of Souls technique.

Technique Credits (TC): These are what you need to learn all forms of techniques. You earn them from Battles, certain Missions, and more.

Writing Points (WP): These are points you gain for doing all forms of roleplaying. The more impressive your writing is, the more you get. They can be converted to all kinds of UFOS'.

Ryu (form of money): You acquire this through Battles in which you steal/kill someone, Missions, and Careers. It can be used to purchase a whole variety of items, from backup weapons to decoy items to escape products and much more.
